ECHMIADZIN. – Armenian Catholicos blessed representatives of education sphere on the eve of the Education day at the Holy See.

Armenian Minister of Education Armen Ashotyan, chancellors of the largest state universities, directors of schools and kindergartens as well as students participated in the event, press service of the Ministry of Education informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“You do a great job by educating the future generation. You educate both mind and soul, and inspire honesty, fairness, and humanity. The state and the society are based on these qualities of a human,” Karekin II told the people present.

“When the Armenian nation had no state, Armenian Apostolic Church solved the issue of education. Independence of the state, the Church still has an important role of forming values,” Armenian Minister of Education stated at the event.
