About 40% of Ukraine's energy infrastructure is seriously damaged, the advisor to the Minister of Energy Oleksandr Kharchenko, reports UNIAN.
"Unfortunately, according to new data, about 40% of the total infrastructure is seriously damaged. Work on repair and connection continues, but today and tomorrow we should expect that there will be disconnections. There will be shutdowns not only emergency, but also planned, in order to reduce the load on the network," said Kharchenko.
He once again urged Ukrainians to save electricity and not to turn on unnecessary appliances.
