The former Prime Minister of Turkey, deputy chairman of the ruling Justice and Development Party Binali Yildirim was involved in an accident in Karabakh.

According to Sabah, the accident happened on the way to Zangilan (Kovsakan) airport. MP Samil Ayrım was also in the car.

The condition of both politicians after the accident is satisfactory. They were taken by helicopter together with their driver to a hospital in Baku for medical examination.

Yıldırım is part of the delegation accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who arrived to participate in the opening ceremony of the "Zangilan International Airport".
