A total of 150 residents of Nerkin Sus, Aghavno, and Berdzor settlements of Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh) Kashatagh region—which was handed over to the control of Azerbaijan—have already received compensation certificates, the Nerkin Sus village prefect told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

"The certificates have just been handed, people haven't used [them] yet, they have to find a house to be able to use [them]," Mkhitar Nersisyan said.

He noted that they moved the monuments primarily to Armenia or Artsakh, and exhumed the bodies from the graves and moved them to other places.

"There was only one cross-stone which was left [there], the Azerbaijanis destroyed [it]. It was a broken cross-stone left over from ancient times," Nersisyan said.

Artsakh Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Hayk Khanumyan had informed the residents of Aghavno and Berdzor that they had to leave their homes by August 25. The bulk of these residents have settled in Armenia.
