Russian president Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the building a wall on Russian-EU borders is a 'nonsense'

"History proves the stupidity of decisions to build walls every time. Because over the years or decades, all walls fall down," Peskov said, commenting on a question about a Polish official's proposal to build a wall on the border between Poland and the Kaliningrad region to avoid an influx of migrants.

Peskov noted that Russia cannot and will not interfere with the implementation of such decisions.
