The fortune of Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty is estimated at $ 845.5 million, writes the New York Post with reference to the list of the richest people in Britain according to the Sunday Times 2022.

The new British prime minister and his family are in 222nd place on the list of the richest people in the country. For comparison, in the same list the fortune of Queen Elizabeth II before her death was estimated at $418.5 million. The fortune of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla ranges from $339-$396 million, as the Guardian wrote.

The British publication also reported that the new prime minister's family owns four homes totaling $17 million, with one of the mansions located on the Los Angeles coast.

The couple met while studying for their MBA at Stanford University. They married in 2009 and are now raising two daughters.
