The final ceremony marking the entry into force of the agreement on the maritime border demarcation between Lebanon and Israel ended on Thursday at the headquarters of the UN peacekeepers. A Lebanese diplomatic source told TASS on Thursday.

The Lebanese and Israeli delegations handed over the documents they signed to UN special coordinator Joanna Wronecka, he said.

The ceremony was attended by American emissary Amos Hosteen, who mediated between the parties, as well as the U.S. and French ambassadors.
