The riots and protests in Iran over the death of young girl Mahsa Amini were fully planned and implemented by the intelligence services of the United States, England, Israel and Saudi Arabia, a joint statement by the Ministry of Intelligence and the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran stated, RIA Novosti reported.

According to available information, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and in close cooperation with the British Foreign Intelligence Service, the Israeli Foreign Intelligence Service (Mossad) and the Saudi Arabian Foreign Intelligence Service, and several other countries played a major role in this (in the unrest), the statement said.

Riots have been ongoing in Iran for more than a month, beginning in mid-September over the death of a young Iranian woman, Amini, after she was detained by the vice police. Protests and riots are taking place mainly in the provinces of Gilan, Khuzestan, Sistan and Balochistan, Tehran and Kurdistan. The Iranian authorities accuse Western countries of supporting the actions, which in their media replicate messages of a subversive, anti-Iranian nature, as well as with calls to overthrow the government in Iran. Rioters systematically attack and kill members of the security forces - police, IRGC and its Basij structure.
