Turkey is conducting "telephone diplomacy" with Moscow on all levels regarding the grain deal, an Istanbul-based source told RIA Novosti.
"At all levels," the source said when asked whether Ankara was now holding talks with Moscow.
When asked whether any details of Ankara's "telephone diplomacy" would be made public, the source noted that "the situation is complicated."
"At such complicated moments, details should not be divulged. The process is underway," the agency's interlocutor added, declining to answer the question of when Turkey's official position would be made public in the new circumstances.
At the same time, the agency's interlocutor did not rule out that the deal, which expires on November 19, would still remain in force.
