Moldova is expelling an employee of the Russian embassy from the country after an incident with falling rocket parts on the territory of the republic, the republic's MFA reported.

The decision is taken to declare the representative of the Russian Embassy in Chisinau persona non grata on the territory of their country, who is obliged to leave the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

The missile attacks on the neighboring country continue to increase the security risks, and the citizens of our country are increasingly feeling the devastating effects of the war, the statement noted. It said that attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure also threaten Moldova's energy security.
