The existence of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border was recorded both in Sochi and Prague. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in the National Assembly, at Wednesday’s joint session of parliamentary standing committees, during the latter’s debates on the draft 2023 state budget of Armenia.

He noted that this fact allows the Armenian side to talk about Azerbaijan's actual aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia.

"It has been managed to be recorded on international platforms that there is a border between the Republic of Armenia and Azerbaijan, which is specified by the Almaty declaration of 1991 and related documents, and it has been subjected to aggression," said Pashinyan.

He noted that the visit of the EU observation mission to Armenia became possible thanks to the recording of the above-mentioned fact.
