American voters favor Republicans. This is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by The Wall Street Journal in conjunction with Impact Research and Fabrizio Lee.
According to the publication, if the U.S. Congressional elections were held on polling day, 46% of Americans would vote for Republicans and 44% of respondents would vote for Democrats. 9% of Americans are still undecided.
Meanwhile, 71% of US residents are sure that their country is moving in the wrong direction; 20% of Americans support the current government. 2% of respondents said they would not participate in the election, while 64% of respondents called the upcoming election more important than most previous elections.
