U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan arrived on an unannounced visit to Kyiv, where he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and other high-ranking officials.
Sullivan emphasized Ukraine's support for Ukrainians as they defend their sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In Kyiv, Sullivan announced an additional $400 million aid package to Ukraine. It includes upgraded T-72 tanks and drones, as well as upgraded surface-to-air missiles. He also confirmed that the U.S. will continue to provide economic and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
