There is a Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem in Armenia's region, there is a British investment of about 130 billion drams in Azerbaijan; besides that, the Turkish factor has become extremely strong in the region and occupies a dominant position. Political scientist Stepan Danielyan noted this during a discussion Monday.

He stated that the aforesaid situation makes Iran very uncomfortable because, first of all, there is a considerable presence of Israel in Azerbaijan, and therefore Tehran sees a danger.

"There are major networks among Azerbaijanis in Iran, and, in this context, there is an Armenia-Iran rapprochement. Iran is having closer ties with Armenia. It is a bit incomprehensible what policy Armenia is pursuing. We also see that thanks to Iran, a balance was formed in the region and the Azerbaijani-Turkish ambitions were somewhat still curbed. But on the other hand, we see what pressure Iran is under," said the Armenian political scientist.
