The military threat from Iran may play an important role in the new Israeli government's revision of its position on military assistance to Ukraine, Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgen Korniychuk said told Bahadari Haredim.
"A big victory for Netanyahu. I hope that the new government will come to Ukraine with military assistance," Korniychuk said.
The diplomat conceded that Israel's particular concern should be about Iran's development of unmanned aerial vehicles, which he claimed Tehran provides to Moscow.
"One day these Iranian drones may reach Israeli territory, so it is important that there should be cooperation between Israel and Ukraine. This will help prevent them from falling over Ukrainian territory, as well as help Israel study the Iranians' methods and analyze these drones," the diplomat said.
