The Armenian authorities legitimize the goal of regime change at any price, Armen Rustamyan, a deputy from the "Armenia" bloc and a member of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun, said during the discussion on Wednesday.

He noted that the authorities are urging to unite to surrender together, whereas Turkey and Azerbaijan want to achieve their goal of destroying Armenia at any price.

Given the current status quo in and outside the country, he thinks that no document favorable to Armenia can be signed, it will be destructive.

Rustamyan recalled that due to the weakening of Russia, which itself has faced the existential problem of fixing its presence on the world map, the military-political balance has been upset in favor of Armenia's adversaries, so it is pointless to expect anything useful for Armenia.

"There is talk that the document can be signed by the end of the year, but during this time the military-political situation will not change, and Armenia may face irreversible consequences. Therefore, we need to work with those countries for whom concessions to Armenia are also vital. Iran knows that this is a "red" line for it and will defend it at any cost. No work is being done in this direction," the deputy added.

According to his assessment, a considerable part of the society accepts the thesis that after surrendering Karabakh we will live in peace. " Capitulation is a concession of vital interests, which the authorities call "the only possible solution." But the denial of Karabakh's right to self-determination would turn Armenia into an aggressor, which would be obliged to constantly cede something, including territories, financial compensation, ethnic cleansing. What will be left of Armenia in this case? The public does not realize that this is what awaits it in the case of the renunciation of Karabakh's right to self-determination. That's why we have to move away from the primitive struggle between the authorities and the opposition," Rustamyan added.

He believes that Armenia has always been of interest to external players by three factors: Karabakh, Syunik (as an obstacle for Turan) and the NPP.
