Niagara Falls is lit up in the colors of the Azerbaijani flag on November 9 thanks to the efforts of the Azerbaijani Embassy to the U.S.

Azerbaijani media reports quoting the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry that the event is timed to coincide with the National Flag Day.  "The Azerbaijani Embassy in the U.S. sent a corresponding appeal to the management of Niagara Falls State Park, and the park management approved the appeal," the statement reads.

What Armenian Embassy in the USA was looking at at that time is a separate issue. It is more important that in the US, that positions itself as a neutral intermediary, on the anniversary of the end of aggressive war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh and Armenia the Azerbaijani flag is honored.
