YEREVAN. – Azerbaijani authorities run unconstructive policy for negotiation process on resolution of the Karabakh conflict using the international platforms, including the CIS anniversary summit, spokesperson of ruling Armenian Republican Party, MP Edward Sharmazanov told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Sharmazanov commented on Azerbaijani PM Arthur Rasizade criticism regarding the speech of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan at the CIS summit.

"Azerbaijan tried to use the CIS summit, where serious issues are discussed, on the principle of ‘the best protection is the attack.’ It tried to blame the Armenian side in the unconstructive approach. However, the attempts of the PM failed when Armenian president called Azerbaijani PM’s attention on the fact that people of Karabakh use their full right of self-determination and gained their independence on the price of blood,” spokesperson stated.

The incident proved that any unconstructive and populist statement or step of Azerbaijan will get an appropriate answer by Armenia, added Sharmazanov.
