The death toll in Sunday's explosion on Istanbul's Istiklal pedestrian tourist street has risen to six and the wounded to 53, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this at a press conference before flying to Indonesia.
"As a result of the explosion in Istanbul, the death toll is 6 and 53 people were injured," he said.
The president condemned the terrorist attack in Istanbul.
