Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the only realistic model of prisoner exchange is the formula - all for all, including the civilian population that Russia forcibly removed from Ukraine.

In particular, Russia deported almost 11 thousand children. He said this during his video address to the G20 summit participants, which was made public by the Office of the President in his Telegram.

"Thousands of our people, military and civilian, are in Russian captivity. They are being brutally tortured. This is mass torture. In addition, we know by name nearly 11,000 children who have been forcibly deported to Russia. They are separated from their parents, knowing that they have families, and in addition to these children there are tens of thousands who were forcibly removed and about whom we know only indirectly. Among them are those whose parents were killed by Russian strikes and are now being held in a killer state," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, there is no time to wait.

"Add to that hundreds of thousands more deported adults, and you can see what a humanitarian disaster the Russian war has caused. Add more political prisoners - Ukrainian citizens who are held in Russia and in temporarily occupied territory, particularly in Crimea. We have to free all these people... We cannot wait, so we must unite for a single realistic model of prisoner release - all for all, as well as for the release of all children and adults who have been deported to Russia," the president said.

He also noted that Ukraine has not found support in the International Committee of the Red Cross.

"I want to say that we don't see that they are fully fighting for access to the camps where Ukrainian prisoners are held or that they are helping to look for deported Ukrainians. And this kind of self-destruction is the self-destruction of the Red Cross as an organization that was once respected," Zelenskyy concluded.
