Azerbaijan protested to France in connection with the Senate resolution.
According to Azerbaijani media reports, French Charge d'Affaires was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he was served a note of protest in connection with the resolution adopted against Azerbaijan in the French Senate on November 15, 2022.
At a meeting on November 15, the French Senate almost unanimously adopted a resolution imposing sanctions on Azerbaijan because of aggression against Armenia.
