Armenian and Italian Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Antonio Tajani discussed issues related to regional stability and security, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Italy exchanged views on holding political consultations between the two countries' foreign ministries, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported. The sides noted the importance of deepening trade and economic ties and encouraging investments.

Issues related to regional stability and security were also touched upon. Mirzoyan said that Azerbaijan's unconstructive approach with the use or threat of use of force undermines the efforts towards the establishment of peace and stability in the region.

The Armenian and Italian Foreign Ministers also discussed issues related to the activities of the EU observer mission in Armenia.
