ARARAT. – Armenian Prosecutor General released new details of the children’s murder case in Armenian Ararat city.

Corpse of Vardan and Hayk Aloyans, 6 and 4-year-old respectively with traces of violence were found at about 11.45 p.m. from the home of there mother Roza Aloyan, Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier.

Later the same day, mother of the children Roza Aloyan was arrested. Pre-investigation revealed that the woman felt lonely and considering her life ended. She throttled her two small children and tried to commit a suicide. She first throttled the eldest one then the smallest with linen, laid them in the bed and tried to throttle her too. However, she could not commit a suicide herself.

Police found some facts concerning Roza Aloyan. Her father left the family in her early childhood, and her mother was killed with an axe by second spouse, Hakob Tadevosyan. She lived in the children’s home for about 7 years, and then studied at Erebuni medical college. State gave her an appartment in Ararat city in 2003. She got married to G.Kh. and had two sons. Her husband left the family periodically and helped only financially from time to time.

Roza Aloyan also received a monthly allowance. She is not accounted in psychiatric or drug unit of the Ararat city polyclinic. Medical expertise is conducted to reveal all the circumstances of the case. Investigation results will be released additionally.
