Britain imposed sanctions against Iranian businessmen and officials whom it accused of involvement in the supply of drones to Russia.

According to a statement on the website of the British government, the sanctions affected Iranian businessmen and officials associated with the production and/or supply of drones to the Kremlin.

Western countries claim that Iran is currently supplying drones to Russia for combat operations in Ukraine. Moscow and Tehran have repeatedly denied such accusations.
