The White House claims that the U.S. has evidence of a deal for Iran to supply ballistic missiles to Russia, although the country has repeatedly denied such unsubstantiated claims.
John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council, told reporters at a briefing he had evidence that indicated that a deal was made for ballistic missiles from Iran to Russia.
He added that the U.S. is concerned about increased Russian-Iranian military cooperation.
