The European Union (EU) on Thursday, December 15, agreed on a ninth package of sanctions against Russia. This was reported by Reuters, citing European diplomats.
According to the agency's interlocutors, the written procedure for approving the next package of sanctions will be completed by noon on Friday, December 16.
Information that EU Permanent Representatives have agreed on new restrictions was confirmed by the Czech Republic's Presidency of the Union.
