YEREVAN. – Armenia does not need talks about new political culture, it needs fair elections, said the People’s Party Leader Stepan Demirchyan during the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) rally on Friday in Yerevan.

“People are leaving the country, the army is in appalling condition, and it’s obvious that the administration is not able to solve the problems. Moreover, they deepen the problems and the country is in this condition because of the wrong policy,” emphasized Demirchyan. “The country should hold early presidential elections, Armenia needs legitimate authorities.”

According to him, Armenian authorities will take steps only in case of strong pressure.

“I said that there is not much hope from the dialogue. It’ll be solved here. I’m sure that we will solve the issues and displace the regime, which seized the government,” Demirchyan added.
