Portugal tied the world's largest Christmas tree, UPI reported. Its height was 16 meters.

The authors of the project was a group of residents of Lisbon.

According to the creators, originally their idea was to find something to do for the elderly who have been sitting at home for two years because of the pandemic coronavirus. But the project soon expanded to include 70 people between the ages of 11 and 88.
