YEREVAN. - Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan visited Tsaghkadzor city resort, where the final tournaments of “The most athletic family-2011” annual national contest for the presidential price took place.

President’s press office informs Armenian News-News.am, that among the participants were families from Armenian capital, regions and Nagorno-Karabagh who had successfully overcame the previous stages of the contest. “The most athletic family” competition, which took place continuously for eight years, was held in three age groups and six formats this year: The president congratulated the winner and all the participants.

According to him, the important thing is that the number of families living in a healthy way is growing and this competition is becoming more and more popular.

“Strong family is the basis of strong society, and healthy family is the basis of healthy society,” said Serzh Sargsyan.

The president gave certificates, financial awards and gifts to the winners.
