Even though petroleum prices are on a rise in international market, gasoline prices are reducing in Armenia. At great majority of capital Yerevan’s gas stations, 1 liter of premium gas is pumped at 460 drams ($1.22 US) and regular, at 440 drams ($1.17). In comparison with last week, gasoline prices in Yerevan have gone down by 10 drams ($.03). A 10-dram reduction was registered in early September, too.    

The main reason for this occurrence is the end of the “travel season” in Europe. And owing to this, the price of gasoline supplied at Georgia’s Poti Port has gone down on the account of Bulgarian and Ukrainian supplies.

But if the world petroleum prices continue to increase, gasoline prices could also go up in Yerevan.
