Canada will buy from the US an anti-aircraft missile system NASAMS and ammunition for its subsequent transfer to Kiev, Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand said.
According to her, Canada will transfer the air defense system to Ukraine for the first time.
A statement from the Canadian Ministry of Defence noted that Ottawa will also purchase related ammunition from Washington for transfer to Ukraine.
