The price of gold is rising symbolically Friday morning, under the round level of $1,900 per troy ounce, trading data shows.
The price of February gold futures on the New York Comex Exchange is up $0.65, or 0.03%, to $1,899.45 a troy ounce. March silver futures are down 0.47% to $23.892 an ounce.
