Sam Brownback, the former governor of the US state of Kansas and an ex-senator, has expressed his concern regarding the ongoing Azerbaijani blockade of the Lachin corridor, which links Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia.

“Deeply troubled by the closure of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan. Armenian families in Karabakh are facing starvation as shelves are empty, medicine has run out, and power has been cut. Who is willing to save Karabakh?” Brownback tweeted
