YEREVAN. - Armenian dram (AMD) devaluation continues this week.
The average US dollar /AMD exchange rate made AMD 375.95/$1 on NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday, a 0.25% increase as compared with Monday. Sales totaled $3.72 million.
The exchange rate got more stable most likely due to interference of the Central Bank. The exchange offices purchase US dollar at the rate of AMD 374.5/$1 and sell at – AMD 376/$1.
