The European Commission (EC) on behalf of the European Union has transferred to Ukraine the first tranche of €3 billion of a new package of macrofinancial aid for 2023 totaling up to €18 billion, the EC said in an official release on its website.

The Commission today allocated the first installment of €3 billion of Macro-Financial Assistance + for up to €18 billion for Ukraine, the statement said.
