Copper prices are rising Wednesday morning after a strong rise a day earlier, trading data show.
March copper futures on the Comex exchange are up 0.66% to $4.2605 a pound (about 0.45 kilograms).
Prices for the industrial metal continue to rise after rising 1.9% on Tuesday. And a pound of copper has already risen more than 11% since the beginning of the month.
