Kazakhstan's first president, Nursultan Nazarbayev, underwent a heart surgery, which was successful. Nazarbayev's press secretary Aidos Ukibay said this, TASS reported.
"Nursultan Nazarbayev underwent a heart surgery. The operation was successful. There is no threat to the life of the first president. Now he is under observation. The operation took place at the National Scientific Cardiosurgical Center under the guidance of the famous cardiac surgeon Yuri Pya," Ukibay wrote on Twitter.
