Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has signed a decree dissolving the 48th National Assembly on February 3 and setting parliamentary elections for April 2, the head of state's press service noted.

Based on the constitution, President Rumen Radev signed a decree dissolving the 48th People's Assembly on February 3. The head of state has set parliamentary elections for April 2, the report said.

By another decree, the president appointed a new technical government, headed by Gylyb Donev, effective February 3.
