YEREVAN. - Prime Minister of Armenia allocated AMD 700 thousand ($1,900) for the surgery of famous poet Hovhannes Grigoryan. Another AMD 300 thousand ($800) will be send on October 1, PM wrote on his Facebook page, wishing the poet quick recovery and strong health.

Note that Grigoryan suffers with lung cancer and needs medical intervention. The major operation can be carried out only in Germany and costs $50 thousand.

Earlier the Speaker of Armenian Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan allocated his monthly salary of AMD 300 thousand ($800) for this cause.
