YEREVAN. – Shirak region police instigated a case against Hayk Chernamoryan, 25, a resident of Gyumri. The young man is suspected in robbery amounting $100,000 from money collecting vehicle, which belonged to Hayinkasatsia [money collector] Gyumri branch.

Chernamoryan worked as a driver of money collecting vehicle. It was his shift when the robbery took place, police informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The man tried to hide money in his apartment. However, he was arrested a day after the robbery. Criminal case is instigated.

If he is proved guilty, he can face 8 years of imprisonment.
