YEREVAN. – Armenian President visited on Friday the Arabkir Child Medical Center in Yerevan. During the visit, the President was informed of the results of the 2007-2011 development program of Arabkir Medical Complex-Institute of Child and Adolescent Health. This program aims to improve pediatric service and create a polyclinic section. At the medical complex, the President got familiarized with the conditions of the hospital polyclinic, which is renovated and equipped with modern instruments, and the newly built 3-storey building that includes pediatric departments, Presidential Press Office informed Armenian News.NEWS.am.
Along the lines of his visit, President Sargsyan was also informed that the pediatric building, which was completely modernized in the past 5 years, would serve as a hospital clinic, whereas the pediatric departments were relocated to the newly constructed building.
The Arabkir Medical Complex, which includes 3 main divisions, provides medical care to more than 9,000 inpatients and over 20,000 outpatients, on a yearly basis.
