Russian President Vladimir Putin said he had a big fight with the Minister of Transport and urged him to pay attention to the procurement of domestic equipment. His remarks came at a meeting with representatives of the aviation industry.
At the same time, Putin added that the minister managed to save the industry.
"Both the financial system and all other sectors work without fail," he noted.
Putin expressed his hope that Russia overcame the most difficult stages, pointing to the need to take safety issues into account in the aviation industry.
He assured that Russia will enter international markets with domestic aircraft and continue to develop low-cost carriers.
"Russia does not boorish anyone, but boorishness must be responded to in the mirror," Putin concluded.
