It became possible to record more than 60-percent growth in the high-tech sector in Armenia. This was announced Friday by Hakob Arshakyan, the parliament deputy speaker of from the ruling Civil Contract Party, during the National Assembly (NA) debates on the bill on amendments to the Law on Industrial Policy.
According to the MP, this year they managed to achieve results that can be described as a record.
"New defense systems have been developed. They have already entered serial production," said Arshakyan.
Dozens of Armenian companies, as the NA vice-speaker noted, have received funding within the framework of state grant programs.
"This, in turn, leads to investments by international funds, which can change the image of Armenian realities," the lawmaker emphasized.
