All parties that signed the agreement on the renewal of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) have time to return to it, but this opportunity will not work indefinitely, because the Iranian side does not see any benefit from the JCPOA, so the window will not remain open forever. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated.

"We are not putting all our eggs in the JCPOA basket," he said, warning that while it is still possible to revive the deal, we have also prepared a plan B.

If the Americans act realistically and stand up for our rights, the deal will be within reach and there is still an opportunity for all sides to revive the JCPOA. The U.S. should take steps according to logic, because we have laid the groundwork for reaching a final step in recent months, and we reiterate that we are determined to reach a consensus," Abdollahian said, according to IRNA.

He called the prisoner exchange with the U.S. a humanitarian issue, explaining that an agreement on the issue is pending.

"The U.S. side must take a number of technical measures to pave the way for a prisoner exchange," the minister said.
