Rescue teams from Iran and Armenia arrived in the Syrian city of Aleppo to help search for earthquake victims among the rubble of collapsed buildings, Tasnim reports. 

Rescuers assessed the situation at four locations, with search operations continuing in one location in multiple shifts. Canine teams with specially trained rescue dogs were also involved.

Meanwhile, the Iranian Red Crescent Society announced that it was collecting donations for the affected areas and provided information about the account for monetary donations.

A strong earthquake of magnitude 7.8 occurred in southeastern Turkey on February 6. More than two dozen thousand people in Turkey and Syria became victims of the natural disaster.
