Armenia has sent a new batch of humanitarian aid to Syria affected by the earthquake, Armenian News-NEWS.am learns from the Rescue Service of Armenia.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations, on the instructions of the prime minister of Armenia, organized the transportation of more than 25 tons of aid to Syria, which was sent there from Yerevan's Erebuni Airport, the respective statement informs.

This humanitarian cargo includes food, medicine, and medical equipment.

Armenia sent the first humanitarian aid—totaling 30 tons—on February 8.

Also, the Armenian government has sent a team of 29 rescuers to Syria.
