After Wednesday’s meeting with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan reaffirmed Armenia's readiness to build peace in the region. Mirzoyan wrote about this on Twitter.

“Our meeting today is determined by disaster that claimed many lives, however, being in Türkiye [(Turkey)] at this difficult moment, I would like to reiterate readiness & willingness of Armenia [to] build peace in [the] reg[ion], establish dip[lomatic] rel[ation]s & fully open border btw Armenia & Türkiye,” the Armenian FM tweeted, and posted photos with Cavusoglu attached to this post.
