Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said that the international community should work out a new mechanism to replace the UN embargo on missiles that can be used to deliver nuclear shells, which expires at the end of 2023. The call was made by the politician on the sidelines of the Munich conference, Reuters reported.

The politician said that the subject of discussion should be all possible means that can prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, and stressed that the international community must take measures to stop Iran from selling advanced weapons.

Iran is currently negotiating the sale of advanced weapons, including drones and high-precision weapons, to at least 50 different countries, Yoav Galant said.

The statement was made in the presence of representatives of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
