YEREVAN. – An inmate at Nubarashen Prison died suddenly. Vachagan Gapoyan had heart problems and was under medical supervision. He died suddenly on the night of September 17, Armenian Prison Committee’s press secretary Gor Ghlechyan told Armenian News.NEWS.am.     

Rumors were circulating in the press that 2nd-degree disabled Gapoyan was complaining about his criminal case and preparing to stitch his mouth shut. Commenting on this information, Ghlechyan stated that the prisoner had not made any formal petition regarding his case.     Vachagan Gapoyan was in prison for the past 2 years.
