The European Union expanded sanctions against Iran for human rights violations in the country, blacklisting 32 more individuals and two more legal entities. The relevant documents were published in the Official Journal of the EU.

In accordance with the EU's commitment to address all concerns regarding Iran, including human rights situations, 32 individuals and 2 legal entities are to be included in the list of individuals, entities, organizations and bodies subject to restrictive measures, the publication said.
